Hold a quiz night or raffle

Quiz nights are a fantastic way to bring people together while raising money for The Island.

Choose a date, book a venue, and invite friends, family, colleagues, or your local community to take part. Teams can be made up of 2 to 8 people, with an entry fee collected from each participant.

To help make your event a success, The Island can provide promotional posters, collection tins, and QR codes linked directly to a JustGiving page to make donating simple and secure.

Community Tubs

Place a collection tub in your shop, cafe or reception area

Hosting a collection tin is a simple way to support The Island and raise funds in your local community.

Choose a location with a steady flow of customers, particularly somewhere people are likely to make cash donations. Great locations include local shops, hairdressers, cafés, pubs, and community venues.

The Island can provide a collection tin, posters, and supporting materials to help you get started. Every donation, no matter how small, helps transform young lives through mentoring.

Host a coffee morning

Coffee mornings and tea parties are a wonderful way to bring together friends, family, colleagues, or your local community while supporting The Island.

Gather your favourite people, put the kettle on, enjoy some delicious treats.

As it’s for charity, maybe your local supermarket or bakery would donate some delicious treats.
